Design Process involve numerous stages:

1. Survey and consultations with the client
2. Planning Application Design - if you are planning any building work or demolitions, you need to apply to your local planning authority (eg your local council). The planning department will decide whether your project is allowed to take place. This is known as giving planning permission.
3. Building Regulations Design -this is detailed drawings, details and other supporting information which is submitted for checking to local Building Control department and a formal decision notice is given. Also this documents used in the construction process.
